Mama Ugadiya’s 2 Small Apartment

At the onset of the Covid 19 Pandemic in Nigeria in the month of April 2020, the government ordered a lockdown. This lead to untold hardship to a lot of people. As a foundation that Dares to Care against all Odds, we decided to do our bit by sending a token of N5,000 each to 50 widows in a local community in Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Abia State as Covid19 Palliative.

During the cash token distribution, we ran into many widows living under very dilapidated mud homes but that of an 80 years widow living with 4 grandchildren with their father incaserated in Prison was so touching that one could not ignore.

MHCF decided to make a difference by building a 2 Rooms block House for Mama (Mrs Ugadiya Azumaraonwu).

On Sunday, 23rd August, 2020 by 5.30pm, the 2 Rooms block House was handed over to Mama and the grandchildren by MHCF.

We are not telling the story to get sponsors alone but to assist the “Haves” to remember to be a gift to the “Havenots”.

Also, the House was not built because we had so much but because it makes sense and also makes a lot of difference in the lives of Mama and the grandchildren.
